EC-verification

According to directive 2008/57/EC the manufacturer or its authorized representative requests an EC-verification at a Notified Body of its choice. The general process of an EC-verification is described as follows:

Assessment procedure

An EC assessment is carried out according to the applicable technical specifications for interoperability (TSI) and the chosen module. The following table shows all possible modules according to decision 2010/713/EU:

The module is to be chosen by the applicant whereby the Notified Body is pleased to support in terms of applicability and meaningfulness due to framework conditions (production type, production place, number of constituents or subsystems, experience etc.).
