EC-verification

According to directive (EU) 2016/797

The manufacturer or its authorized representative requests an EC-verification at a Notified Body of its choice. The general process of an EC-verification is described as follows:

An EC assessment is carried out according to the applicable technical specifications for interoperability (TSI) and the chosen module. The following table shows all possible modules according to decision 2010/713/EU:
